Rihanna and Lady Gaga Combine Forces in "Silly Boy"

Despite the racy Rihanna pictures and Rihanna photos that hound search engines over the Internet, nothing is stopping her from making new music. This time, Rihanna gets a little help from Lady Gaga as they form a formidable divalicious duo in a new single entitled "Silly Boy". Hmmm, is this song meant to imbue a slight nudge towards Rihanna's ex fiance Chris Brown?
Rihanna and Lady Gaga Silly Boy
Despite the rumors that it was actually Chris Brown who leaked the supposed-to-be private Rihanna photos, the singer has yet to confirm that she is indeed the woman who was exposed in those controversial photos. Nevertheless, controversies won't let a diva down so here's her new single that would surely ignite the fancies of Rihanna fans out there. Rihanna and Lady Gaga's "Silly Boy" is a electro-pop concoction which may a bit sound like "Disturbia" in some parts but one could definitely hear a difference since the perky Lady Gaga is in it. I can't wait to see the actual music video of "Silly Boy". For now, you can just have a fun time listening to it first-hand:

Star Trek Rakes in $31 Million in its First 2 Days

Box office ticket sales for the much-hyped Star Trek prequel have jumped up from a decent $7 million on its premiere to a whopping $24 million last Friday May 8. That makes it $31 million in the first two days of this Paramount produced flick starring Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto. The box office sales are also expected to balloon up to $70 million this weekend (UPDATE: Star Trek earned $76.5 million already in its opening weekend, according to AP).
Star Trek Movie May 8 2009
Critic reviews of Star Trek may have helped boost sales of this J.J. Abrams classic. Rotten Tomatoes website gave it 96 percent in positive ratings, while in Marc Bernandin's Entertainment Weekly article, he found this film to suffice each fan's geeky expectations. Bernandin writes that: "Me, I thought it was good. Very good, even. But not great". The greatness it lacked was due to the fact that it was a prequel and you'd always expect that the Star Trek will survive this and that. All in all, it was decent film enough to pull in the fans to watch it. Plus Chris Pine is too good looking to ignore. Here's the Star Trek trailer for those intrigued of what's this movie all about:

Gossip Girl hunks Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick are slated to atted President Barack Obama's annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner. Reportedly, Crawford, Westwick and Gossip Girl co-star Jessica Szohr were invited to the said event. The White House correspondent's dinner, which will be hosted by Wanda Sykes, will not be limited to Gossip Girl stars only as other celebrities are also gracing the event like Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria, Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck and John Cusack.
Chace Crawford Ed Westwick Invited to White House Dinner
In an MTV article, Chace Crawford, in particular, was glad he was invited as guest by FOX News and he hopes to be seated next to Bill O'Reilly so that he can share with him "his pro-Obama beliefs". Chace Crawford is currently doing a film in New York entitled Twelve, which he will co-star with 50 Cent, Emma Roberts and 24's Kiefer Sutherland, who's now on the news via an alleged head-butting incident with a fashion designer. We wish Chace and Ed do a great job in the White House. We hope cameras won't catch them goofing around there like in this picture below:
