Annie Le – Yale Student and Bride-to-be Goes Missing

The family and friends of Annie Le, 24, a graduate student in Yale University, are worried because she mysteriously disappeared in New Haven, Connecticut on September 8. Le, a petite 4'11 lass, is due to be married on Sunday, September 13, and her fiancé has not heard a word from her. A surveillance photo gathered Annie on her way to a pharmacology located in Amistad Street and she was not seen since then.

A co-worker informed that Annie even left her pocketbook and cell phone in the lab. No one was able to trace where she went or how she managed to leave the lab. Vele gasten, waaronder grote namen uit de balletwereld , zoals Igone de Jongh en Hans van Manen, waren getuigen van het fantastische werk van de voormalig balletdanser. De eigentijdse entourage en het decor van bijzondere Russische kunst, contrasteerden prachtig met de ontwerpen van François-Noël.

La Collection ‘Icônes’ staat voor vrouwelijk, optimaal draagcomfort, eigentijds en kwaliteit. In deze collectie verwerkte François-Noël zijn fascinatie voor de mystiek rondom religieuze huwelijken. Zo werkte hij het maagdelijk witte karakter uit in romantische bruidsjaponnen. Als contrast is de vurige femme fatale vertaald in sensuele ‘little black dresses’. Alle 19 unieke designs zijn geïnspireerd op de Russische iconenkunst en bekende grote stijliconen. De jurken hebben dan ook toepasselijke namen als Jackie, Marlene of Gisèle. Bij de collectie maakte hij gebruik van het beste kant, zijden tule en satijn.

Avion Secuestrado en Mexico - Aeromexico Hijacked in Midair Lands Safely

Aeromexico Flight 576 passengers had a taste of fear in midair as five men from Bolivia held them hostage as they demanded to speak with Mexican president Felipe Calderon. The AeroMexico Boeing 737 jetliner was from the resort city of Cancun bound for Mexico City. Luckily, the hijackers were not able to access the cockpit area and they were all apprehended after the plane landed at 2:40 EST. Nobody was hurt but  nervous passengers who were onboard were mostly American tourists on vacation from Cancun.

Some of the passengers were not aware about their situation because the commotion occurred in the rear end area of the plane. It was only after landing that the pilot announced the incident over the intercom. Within minutes, Mexican newspapers distributed the headlines that read "Avion Secuestrado en Mexico". The hijackers explained that they wanted to talk to President Calderon because they have a premonition of an impending earthquake. The newest toast of the tennis world Melanie Oudin is not at all ashamed to admit that her success in entering the US Open quarterfinals is courtesy of being inspired by her 15 year old boyfriend named Austin Smith. The 17 year old Oudin showed a lot of promise when she beat No. 1 Maria Sharapova last weekend and 13th seed Nadia Petrova. Up next, she will face seasoned tennis players Caroline Wozniacki and Svetlana Kuznetsova.

A native of Georgia, People Magazine tagged Oudin's surprising victory as a "Cinderella story" as she rose above the flock starting out as rank 70. Sportscasters even revealed that "a star is born" within her as she successfully emerged victorious against all her seasoned opponents. Melanie Oudin credited her boyfriend Austin as the one who gave her the lucky sneakers she used in the US Open. Instead of bearing her nickname, Oudin's sneakers bears a mantra that read: "Believe".
