Victorian Antique Jewellery

If you are an avid collector of antique jewellery, some of the loveliest pieces you can buy are Victorian.Even some of the less expensive Victorian items which come up at auction are a beautiful addition to any collection. There are two Victorian antique jewellery pieces coming up for sale at Fellows & Sons auctioneers in Birmingham, UK, on Thursday 18th October 2007.
The brooch is in good condition with only minor scratches to the gold and some wear and tear. An expert collector will want to give it a little attention, which is understandable for an antique jewellery item of this age.The other Victorian highlight is a diamond and cultured pearl sunray design brooch, with a guide price of £780 to £1,000.Studying the piece, it has a central round cultured pearl bordered by eleven cut diamonds, leading to fifteen diamond set rays. The total diamond weight is estimated to be 3 carats. There are another 56 Victorian items in the sale, plus hundreds of other pieces of antique jewellery.
