Robert Pattinson Shirtless New Moon Scene Felt Like 'Striptease'

Robert Pattinson can't hide his being overwhelmed that he had to take his shirt off for Twilight Saga: New Moon. According to Rob, the scene is like him doing 'striptease' in the New Moon set. He was quoted saying at the Parade website he "felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square" while ripping his shirt off: "I was essentially doing a striptease".

Although he's quite vocal about his indifference, he was surprised about the reaction of people seeing him shooting the scene. He said that the irony of it was that it's one of the moments where he really "felt closest to people's attachment to Edward (Cullen". The 23 year old British actor revealed that: "There were so many extras in that scene who were 'Twilight' fans who had flown in just to be a part of it. It was quite uplifting and it was also very nerve-wracking." Essentially, he is quite embarrassed showing his body compared to the buffed Taylor Lautner. He joked that he was "resentful" of Taylor being muscular and all. Robert Pattinson reacted that: "I didn't see Taylor until just a little bit before we started shooting. I had the same reaction as everybody else. Its like, 'Jeez, now I have to go to the gym.'" In fact, Rob has to have his body in for a “make-up” in order for it look ‘defined’ on-screen. Oh well, forget the gym – girls love your body for the way it is, anyway!

Robert Pattinson Sexiest Man Alive for 2009 in People Magazine

Move over, Hugh Jackman! People magazine has crowned its new Sexiest Man Alive 2009 in the person of Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson. As usual, Rob is still in hesitation whether he really deserved this recognition. But, as the millions of Team Edward would see it, the 23 year old British young actor is certainly the rightful owner of that title this year.

With the huge worldwide success of the new Twilight installment New Moon, there's no doubt about the crazy popularity that this guy is getting. In an interview for Entertainment Weekly, Robert Pattinson joked that it is his hair that made "75 percent" of his performance as Edward Cullen. Robert also stated some fight scenes he'll be doing in the third installment, Breaking Dawn. Anyway, he obviously beat out the more ripped co-star Taylor Lautner in the quest as the 2009 Sexiest Man Alive. Last year, it was Wolverine star Hugh Jackman who was declared as the Sexiest Man Alive.

People's Choice Awards 2010 Nominees: Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Are In!

It's a vampire domination for the 2010 People's Choice Awards! Twilight, True Blood and The Vampire Diaries are all in the running to sweep all award categories. The Twilight Saga alone gained six nominations - including Favorite Movie Actor and Actress for Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart. Fellow Twilight actor Taylor Lautner is also included in the love triangle as the three are nominated for the Favorite On-Screen Team. Lautner has another nomination in the Breakout Movie Actor category.

Taylor Swift is said to be very nervous about her first foray into hosting the Saturday Night Live (SNL) on November 7. The 19 year old country singer has been brewing up some ideas for the show and she's all worried that she might have "a heart attack". Her anxiousness is even publicized in her Twitter page: "Starting the SNL process I kinda feel like I might have a heart attack or pass out in the pitch meeting. I'm that excited (sic)." Taylor, who's rumored to be dating Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner, is said to be getting back at Kanye West, just for laughs, for that controversial interruption he made during her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Despite all the jitters, Taylor Swift is taking up the task seriously as she is preparing for her gig like a pro. Taylor informed: "I try to prepare for everything beyond the extent of preparation. So I have all these ideas for skits. I'm probably gonna walk in there with 35 ideas." Right now, we're excited how she will handle the hilarious skits about that Kanye thing and of course the Taylor Lautner dating thing. Although Taylor Swift is maintaining a "clean-cut" image, she voiced out she's just a regular person: "Sometimes people are fascinated by the fact that I don't care about partying, almost to the point where they think it's weird. I think when we get to the point where it's strange for you not to be stumbling around high on something at 19, it's a warped world." Is there romance brewing between the two Taylors? Popular teen country singer Taylor Swift and Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner are seen again together attending a hockey game while the Los Angeles Kings battles it out with the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The female Taylor, who's 19 years old, is seen as blooming as ever as she sat beside her leather jacket clad hunky date who's just 17 years old. Taylor Lautner has been seen many times attending the country singer's concert tours.

After the game, the couple was seen walking in the area of Beverly Wilshire hotel. Reporters have been egging the female Taylor because she's shamelessly calling her friend "Taytay". When asked about him, she gushed: "I love him. He's so cute!" Taylor Lautner, on the other hand, declared that the country singer was his crush and definitely his "type". Taylor Swift still denies she has a "guy" in her life right now. Isn't it just weird if your boyfriend and you has the same first names?

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart New Moon Tour Dates and Locations

Gird your loins Twilight fans as Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the New Moon cast might just drop by your city and you might miss taking a bite at what they have in store for you! Summit Entertainment is happily announcing their Twilight tour as they have 15 cities in line to visit their thousands of fans. Of course, exclusive access to the film franchise's stars will be part of it before New Moon hits the big screen.

The official statement of Summit Entertainment reads:

The nationwide tour will kick off in Los Angeles, California, at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Friday, November 6 with a special event open to the public, where fans will be treated with performances by several bands featured on 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' soundtrack. Fans who acquire VIP credentials on October 31 will be granted access to a special event with select cast members at their respective malls. For the chance to register and meet cast members, fans need to visit Hot Topic or select Nordstrom stores at 8 A.M. on October 31 at one of the participating mall locations. They will be given access to return and meet select cast members at that same mall on the assigned scheduled date and time. VIP credentials provided on October 31 are limited, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to those who make qualifying purchases. VIP credentials are non-transferable

Not only will the fans see the New Moon cast in their city, but acts like Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf and Band of Skulls will be performing. At each of the 15 cities, Twilight fans will witness exciting activities, games and Q&As with the cast. Latest New Moon Posters Are Out - See RPattz, Kristen, Taylor and Dakota!

The Twilight sequel New Moon is just 53 days away and Summit Entertainment has released 3 versions of this film's posters just to excite the fans looking forward to it. In the first poster, you can see Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) in a pose where their arms are all over each other leaving no space in between. The second poster features Taylor Lautner flexing his muscles with the werewolf pack. While the third one, it centers on the new character Jane (Dakota Fanning) who's a member of the Volturi Guard. This is a coven of vampires seen right behind her.
