Shoe of the Day - Jessica Simpson Genaviv Heels

Jessica Simpson may not be the brightest bulb on earth, but she sure knows a stylish shoe when she sees one. Her design company designed the Genaviv heel, which comes in Dark Chocolate (seen here), Cognac and Black, and fits like a glove.

Not only is this shoe hella comfortable, but these alluring sandals features a fun curly leather upper with an open-toe and adjustable slingback. The upper is fastened with accenting studs to the faux wooden 1¼ inch platform and 5-inch stiletto heel.

These would look absolutely perfect with jeans or capris... that's right; capris will never, ever go out of style. Ever.

Jessica Simpson has scored some serious points with these awesome heels and I'll be sure to let you know of other stylish shoes from her collection in the near future.

Cost: $88
Where to get them: Zappos.com

'True Detail' by Luciano Carvari FW 08-09

What a superb ad campaign. The 'True Detail' ad campaign for the Luciano Carvari Fall Winter 2008-2009 footwear collection is all about celebrating attention to detail and skills with 7 scenarios. Landing a tennis ball in a glass of juice, putting the right amount of poison in your husband's meal, studying the surrounding while pretending to tie your shoes, it's all about paying attention to details. See a behind the scenes video of the shoot at the end of the post.

Luciano Carvari Delicious Footwear Ads

Usually ads for shoes  do not excite me much, but the 'Flora - Amore' ad campaign for the Luciano Carvari Spring-Summer 2008 Footwear collection is a creative and exciting exception. The campaign has a theme of bringing shoes & flowers together, and was shot in Thailand, Morocco, Zanzibar, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and on the territory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Botanical Gardens. Wow, I wonder how much the traveling budget was!
