Melissa Rycroft Will Be On Dancing WIth The Stars

Link
Melissa Rycroft has been selected as Nancy O'Dell's replacement on Dancing With the Stars, which begins on Monday March 9, 2009. Although Melissa Rycroft isn't exactly a star, she is recent enough in our memories from her very public dumping on ABC's The Bachelor that the show's producers thought us stupid enough to believe she is a star.

Anyway, Melissa Rycroft began practicing a few days ago and is set to put on her dancing shoes and, I'm just guessing here, the pity parade will be voting her ass in every week just because nobody wants to see her get rejected twice on the same network.
Melissa Rycroft is cute and has a pretty rocking body, so I'm sure she'll look great in the outfits. Let's just hope she dances better than she dates.

Melissa Rycroft Reveals All on Ellen

Melissa Rycroft, the dumpee on The Bachelor's After the Final Rose show, was on Ellen this week and explained what actually transpired before the airing of the show and afterwards.

Melissa Rycroft admits that the feelings were mutual that it wasn't going to work between her and Jason Mesnick, but the betrayal came in because Jason Mesnick kept denying that Molly Malaney was the reason why.

But during the After the Final Rose show, Jason Mesnick finally told her that, yes, it was indeed Molly Malaney that was the reason why he no longer wanted to be with her and she got really pissed.

But all's well that ends well and Melissa Rycroft is now dating a guy who's ironically named Ty (that's the name of Jason Mesnick's son), and she admits that she never wants to be friends with Jason Mesnick or Molly Malaney. Good for her.

Bachelor Jason Mesnick Chooses Melissa Then Molly

Did you see last night's The Bachelor finale? Yes, we all knew that it was a big setup because the show's producers kept making the host say "this will be the most dramatic After the Final Rose show ever" and they felt that this time, he had to mean it.

Jason Mesnick chose Melissa Rycroft at the finale, but fast forward six weeks later and, lo and behold, Jason Mesnick decided that he made a big mistake and now wanted to be with Molly Malaney. Bee-zarr.

Anyway, Jason Mesnick tells the world that the chemistry between him and Melissa Rycroft was off and he couldn't stop thinking about Molly Malaney the whole time. So he dumps Melissa Rycroft, as has every other man she's dated. Except this time, Melissa Rycroft had to bear the very public humiliation of being dumped on a major TV network. Nice.

Then Jason Mesnick asks Molly Malaney to be his because he made a mistake. And she accepts. To be quite honest, it all seemed a bit fake, and there's a good chance it was. The thing is that there's another episode to come tonight, but there was no hint as to what it would be about, so fingers crossed that we end up witnessing a very crazy threesome.
